The university offers more than 130 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programmes, through its Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Honours College. Some of these programmes are internationally recognised/accredited. Some are ranked among the top in the region or even in the world, such as microelectronics and traditional Chinese medicine. UM is also the sole provider of some unique programmes in the region, such as the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Gaming Management Programme. English is the main medium of instruction, with some programmes taught in Chinese, Portuguese, and Japanese. The university has Asia’s largest and most complete collegiate system comprised of ten colleges.
